Open Your Security Bank Account
Visit any Security Bank location or call 789-3500 for additional information about opening your new account.
Change Direct Deposits
If you have direct deposit from your employer, the Social Security Administration or your retirement plan, fill out the form below titled Payroll Deposit Authorization form. This form will need to be returned to the business or organization issuing your direct deposit and remember to include a voided check from your Security Bank account.

Change Automatic Payments
Use the form below titled Automatic Payment Authorization form to change all automatic withdrawals or automated payment services. Your New Accounts Representative can provide the forms for some of the local utility providers. Do not forget about those that use your debit card number or automatic payments made online.

Stop Using Your Old Account
And let all of your outstanding checks clear. This could take up to 10 days or possibly longer in certain situations.
Close Your Old Account
When all items have cleared your old account, visit or contact your previous financial institution and close the account. Or you may mail the Account Closure Request form to your former financial institution to close your old account.
